Germs cause illness, that’s a fact. They spread and multiply under certain circumstances, and can move from host to host with ease. Sometimes these germs are harmless, barely worth recognition, and sometimes they’re life-threatening bacteria that can kill their hosts.
How do you handle germs? You keep clean, and you make sure to sterilize areas where you may come in contact with them. Traditional sterilization involves things like bleach, paper towels, a mop and bucket with cleaning supplies, or other instruments. But there are alternatives to these traditional methods that work better, more efficiently.
One major alternative is a steam cleaning system.
Steam cleaning systems are found in many types. There are industrial steamers, designed to clean or sterilize massive amounts of products fast, hospital steamers used to sterilize surgical instruments, and home steam-cleaning equipment for things like floors and countertops.
And they really are effective. Superheated steam cleaned faucet handles and paper towel dispenser handles had, on average, 1/10th as many germs as those cleaned with traditional methods. That’s a massive reduction in potential illnesses.
Another benefit to steam cleaners and steam cleaning is that steam cleaners are capable of getting rid of toxic chemicals, molds and chemical allergens that can harm both your family and your family pets. Pets can fall victim to the effects of poor cleaning, too, and so steam cleaning, which removes toxins, keeps your pet from ingesting anything that may cause it harm.
There are two types of steam cleanings systems available for home use, marketed as dry and cool. Each system has a different cleaning method associated with it, and that is hinted at with its name.
A cool steam cleaning machine uses more water in cleaning when compared to that of the dry cleaning machine. Both systems, however, are capable of cleaning many different types of surfaces and items. Powerful cleaning tools, they can be used to eliminate fungus, germs, dust mites and molds.
They also, unlike traditional cleaning methods, do not use chemicals to clean, and as such are eco-friendly and more efficient, way to keep your home free of germs and harmful materials.
They can be used for carpets, tiles, wood, stone, and more; an all surface cleaner.
So throw out the mop and bucket and consider picking up a steam cleaner for your home. Not only would it be better for cleaning, but it would be better for your health!
